Back in March this year I met a beautiful lady called Carolyn. Like me, her son was in Trindy, the same days as my son but we had actually never really stopped to have a conversation. I knew her to smile at, say “Hello” and “See ya” but that was about it.
“Creativity takes courage!” claimed Henri Matisse. If we believe this to be true, then our Summerland’s Visual Art students are brave indeed! Nearing the finish line of their creative journey, each student has recently completed their major works or ‘Body of Work’ after countless hours of painstaking process.
Charlie is our second student in the last two years to top her class in a first year university unit in the SCU Head-Start program. We are so proud of her hard work and success and wish her all the best as she sits her HSC trials.
