Name: Mrs Liz Reeks

Title/Subject: Year 5 Teacher

Career background: Before becoming a teacher I was working in architecture and graphic design. Most recently I was a specialist art teacher at a primary school in Sydney.

My teaching approach/style: I want my kids to know that success doesn’t come from talent – it comes from determination, hard work, and learning from our mistakes.

I love: that all the staff at school know and follow Jesus. It shines through in every decision they make and in every interaction they have with students. It's what makes Summerland such an amazing place to work!
