Primary school is truly the foundational years of a child’s learning. We take this responsibility very seriously and aim to provide an excellent academic program for our students. First and foremost is our desire to see our students recognise that they are lovingly created by God. Each students have been created with unique gifts and abilities and every child is celebrated because of this truth.
The Primary (Years K-6) section of Summerland comprises of two classes per year level from Kindergarten to Year 3 and a single classes for Years 4-6. Primary students take part in purposeful and interesting learning, with significant focus on Literacy and Numeracy. It is during these lessons that the gifts and abilities of individual children are nurtured.
